About Nana

I retired from the NHS in January 2019 after a long career as a nurse and a manager, so I needed a new adventure in my life. What better way to spend my time than exploring my beautiful country with my dogs (Millie & Molly) and my growing number of grandchildren.

I always wanted to write books and as the grandchildren are getting older I wanted to do something that they could keep to remember all the fun times we had on our days out and holidays. All the books in the Nana's Adventure series focus on places we have visited. The first book was about a cave we visited in Cornwall. The children love the fact that they are the stars in the books!

The blogs focus on my days out and holidays sharing the ups and downs in my quest to find good quality dog and family friendly accommodation, sightseeing and food places.
