My first visit to South Africa was in 2009 when my son got married at the beautiful Buffelsdrift game reserve in Oudtshoorn.
Since then we have driven the garden route from Cape Town up to Plettenberg Bay three times where we have stayed with elephants amongst other things.
We now visit every year for a month in February and stay near Stellenbosch, in the Vineland's which is 45 minutes from Cape Town. My blogs in South Africa will include places to visit, golf courses, restaurants and our adventures including squad biking in the mountains and on a safari.
